In collaboration with the Butts Lab, a paper was recently published in&nbsp;<em>Biochemistry (<\/em><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1021\/acs.biochem.0c00462\">https:\/\/doi.org\/10.1021\/acs.biochem.0c00462<\/a>). In this paper we were able to characterize the sequences of 78 clinically relevant Mpro sequences. These sequences shed light on the mutational landscape and offer insight on how these mutations affect the active site of this cysteine protease.
